A Patrick Sweany set can veer from soulful, slow burn, John Lee Hooker-style blues, to swampy, delta-country pickin', to white-hot rockabilly. His righteous guitar licks and deep, smooth vocals can travel though a slinky R&B, early Rock & Roll, '70's' blue rock, folk-blues or a dirty garage blues. Patrick's roots stretch to fingerpicking along to folk-blues giants like Leadbelly and Lighnin' Hopkins, helping him to develop a part Piedmont, part Delta style. Combined with his love of the 50's era soul and rock fused with adrenaline-soaked garage punk, Esquire says, "This is the kind of music Robert Johnson sold his soul for way back when." He's supported other blues rockers such as the Tedeschi Trucks Band and Hot Tuna and featured at festivals nationwide including the Telluride Blues and Brews Festival.
Concert starts at 8 pm
